Share a Message of HOPE with an Inmate

"This note and scripture was exactly what I needed to hear! How did this person know exactly what to write? Please tell them thank you! Thank you coming in and brining us hope. I was about to give up." ~ Doris, a correctional facilities resident

Letters to Inmates Guidelines

Your words can be a beacon of light to those who feel forgotten.

Lift Your Gaze invites individuals, community groups, book clubs, and Bible studies to write general letters of encouragement to inmates, offering them hope, strength, and a reminder that they are not alone.  We have personally witnessed so many people receive an encouraging and much-needed word in due season from this service.

How You Can Help:

  1. Pray first. Ask God for what to write, scripture to share, and what would bless someone in desperate need of hope.
  2. Write a letter or note: Share words of encouragement, Bible verses, drawings, notes, or inspirational messages. Your note can make a difference in someone's life.
  3. Submission Options:
  4. Submit your letter online using the form below.
  5. Collect letters from your group and mail them to:  Lift Your Gaze, PO Box 692301, Orlando, FL 32869
