Meeting Schedule: 

1st Meeting: Begining to Day 3 (download sample below if you don't have a book yet)
2nd Meeting: Day 4 to Day 10 
3rd Meeting: Day 11 to Day 17
4th Meeting: Day 18 to Day 24
5th Meeting: Day 25 to end

Individual Meeting Schedule:

15 minutes: 
Ice breaker (What's your favorite ice cream, candy, vacation, car, pet, etc)
Establish ground rules:
  • Everything that is said in this study is confidential--no gossipping--if you're not part of the problem or solution, DON'T REPEAT IT, 
  • If the leader needs to interrupt someone, it's not personal or that they are not saying something extremely spiritual, it's to keep the group moving forward so the group can end on time. 
  • Questions are welcome at any time.
Open in Prayer for the Holy Spirit to lead the study, bless the people in attendance and those who couldn't make it, and to be filled with his peace, faith, and grace.  

45 minutes: Devotional Reading and Discussion

Have each person read outloud one of the devotionals scheduled for that meeting.
Discuss the devotional with the group after reading outloud:
  • What resonated with you from the devotional?
  • How did the devotional affect you?
  • What did you really like about it?
  • Did it change you? If so how? 
  • Did you struggle with any part of it?

30 minutes: Group prayer
  • Have everyone share one prayer request outloud. 
  • Encourage group members to write down each group member's prayer requests and pray for the group members during the week.
  • Have each person pray for the person to their left, going around the room until everyone is prayed for. 
  • The leader should open and close the prayer.
  • End with group announcements: location, times, and assignement for next meeting
